About us
We are a plant church in Cortez, Colorado that started in the fall of 2012. The church is a result of God working through some difficult circumstances and bringing together a group of men and women with various denominational backgrounds who desired to see a church molded after nothing more than the Word of God. We are a non-denominational church whose desire is to submit to the leading and Lordship of Christ in all that we do.
- We are independent. We do not have denominational affiliation or oversight.
- We are evangelical. We believe that our purpose is to glorify God and to share of His saving love and gospel truth with everyone.
- We are reformed. We believe in the sovereignty of God in all things. We believe we are saved and sustained by nothing of ourselves, but entirely through the grace of God.
- We are elder led. With Christ as the head, we are overseen by a group of God fearing men who have been called to shepherd this local body together.
- We are family focused. We believe strongly that the family is the primary place the truth of God is to be learned and lived. Therefore, we don't have a lot of programs to segregate every walk or season of life, but desire to come together as a diverse family in the worship of our King.
